Pop Trading offers commercial services that facilitates the trading of fruit around the world. Gloria is a strong communicator, being able to speak in English, Italian, Spanish and German. She specialises in managing relationships with buyers and sellers, and handling pricing, paperwork and logistics.
On the buying side, we work with both importers and supermarkets directly, mainly in the UK and Italy. On the selling side, we work with fruit and veg growers in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, South Africa, UK, Mexico, Argentina & Chile.

The Team
Gloria Nupieri, commercial manager
An Argentinian national who has lived in Italy for over 20 years, Gloria brings a wealth of experience having spent most of her life in Italy in the commercial side of fruit. Although a fully qualified technical auditor for one of the UK’s leading supermarket, Gloria’s strength lies in commercial relationships with both European and South American growers and helping them develop new business opportunities. She is fluent in Spanish, Italian, English and German.
Danny Francis,
managing director
Danny has worked in the UK fruit industry for over 25 years, working for importers who supply the major UK supermarkets. His roles have covered both buying and selling and more recently senior level management. His specialist product area is stonefruit, which he believes gives a good education into the business side of fruit due the variable and complex nature of the product’s supply, demand, quality and potential for innovation.
